Essential Job Duties
Process Analysis & Optimization:
Assist in the evaluation and enhancement of current manufacturing processes.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and quality issues.
Support the implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques.
Project Support:
Contribute to ongoing process improvement projects and scale-up initiatives.
Collaborate with senior process engineers to develop and test new process designs.
Assist in drafting process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validation protocols.
Quality & Compliance:
Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure processes meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
Help in performing risk assessments and establishing control strategies to maintain product integrity.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret process performance data using statistical tools.
Prepare technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations for process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Liaise with production, R&D, and maintenance teams to gather insights and coordinate process adjustments.
Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements
Educational Background:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in a nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food production environment.
Familiarity with process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, or CAD is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Additional Attributes:
Eagerness to learn and apply new engineering concepts.
Prior internship or project experience in process engineering or manufacturing is advantageous but not required.
